Thank goodness huh,,,well I couldn't sleep last night so on pinterest I went looking,searching and whatever else we all do on it. And I found this easy peasy skirt tutorial and thought,,I am going to make one tomorrow..of course at 2am my brain is racing and getting more ideas in it. So this morning came and off I went to the Goodwill to find a nice tee shirt for my new skirt and to AC Moore to get some elastic thread, which I was totally in awe at since I have never seen or heard of it before. Then home I came to try out this new DIY project and in 20 minutes I have a awesome springy comfy skirt. I couldn't believe it, because in stores these puppies are expensive..and the total cost for mine was Shirt-$3.50, Thread-$1.97=$5.47 Sweettttttttt..and I see many more skirts in my future..well I hope you all had and productive day and we will chat again soon I am sure of it,,till then,,hugs and lots of stitches..

Pork Chop,,it is so tasty. The fresh Thyme and Lemon really do it for me,,if you would like to try it here
and let me know how you like it,,I served mine with smashed cauliflower..enjoy.

Tonight's dinner was very yummy..Since moving to Florida over 2 years ago we have tried more seafood that we wouldn't normally eat..and so far we have liked most of them..Talipia being one we like alot..so if you are fish lover and want to try this recipe then go here and then come back and let me know how you liked it,,tomorrow dinners will be another new one for use,,Asiago Crusted Pork Chops.Bon Appetit

Hope this bright and sunny Monday morning finds you all well. Well I am doing the usually Monday things..laundry,dishes,cleaning..and sneaking in some crocheting time. I did make 2 deco podge frames over the weekend. The cheetah one is for a neighbors daughter who's birthday is tomorrow and the pink and green one is for me..they were easy and fun to do..and the picture below that is a start of a new afghan pattern or me, it is called either Tear Drop or Larksfoot,,I am calling this my African Violet one,,as it reminds me of the colors of one..it is easy peasy and I am really enjoying working on it,,well I hope you all have a very awesome and productive week,,and lets chat soon...hugs

I have been hiding out in my sewing room the last couple of nights,,my husband and daughter have been on a FlashPoint kick rerun on netflix and so I have been doing some sewing..these cute little newborn dresses were so much fun to sew..they are going to a friend of my daughters who is due next month..I have also made 2 more pillowcases and have 1 more dress done..my stitching has taken a back burner to my sewing but I am ok with that..at least I am still being creative..hope you all are having a great week,,till next time,,huggs

Hello, it has been a good week. I have been really productive, well at least I think I have been, and that is all that counts right. I really think Mr Winter has skip over Florida this year, I am not complaining as the weather is beautiful..and with all the pictures of flower, and bright colors I am ready for spring. Well here are 2 things that I did this morning. They were fun and I think that are adorable..who doesn't love cupcakes or little sheep. My stitching is taking a back burner to my sewing this week, but I am thinking I will be picking it up real soon. I also have a new addiction, it is called Pinterest and that has been taking up to much of my time,,but oh it is fun to look at all the pictures..so if you are on Pinterest I would be honor for you to follow me. A final finish for 2011

Here he is in all his glory a little finish,,I just love me some cardinals..and I have stitch this one 2 other times for gifts and thought it was time I did one for me,,
And here is an update on Betsy,,I thought for sure I would have her finish before the end of the year but my eye surgery put a stop to that,,she will be done in 2012.

And my new start will be Shepherds Bush The Wool Gatherer. 2011 wasnt that good in finishes for me,,I seem to take a major break from all my crafting during the summer months, even my husband had notice and mention it that I hadn't done any kind of crafts in a long time..
Well I am hoping you all have a Happy New Year, and I cant wait to see all the projects everyone is planning on doing in 2012...cheers and huggs.

As 2011 comes to a close..

I just want to reflect on the last year. I have many things to be thankful for, my health as one. A month ago I went to the eye doctor and they found a spot on my eye, and decided to do a eye biopsy to see if it was cancer, which made it for a stressful 2 weeks till surgery and then another week to get the results back. Well I made it thru the surgery and the results where the best Christmas present I received..no cancer just a sunspot on my eye..But I also have my family and they have been all healthy this year..my friends both on here and in person, I am truly thankful for you all, you take me to beautiful places I only dream of going, and show your beautiful artwork, and share with me your life's journeys of goods and bad, I am truly blessed to have each and everyone of you in my life. I live in a beautiful place and have a roof over my head and food in my stomach..and I thank God everyday for the little things like seeing a beautiful cardinal at my bird feeder, or hearing my 3 year old grandson laugh..2011 was a good year and I am praying that 2012 will be a better year,,I just want to wish you all a very Happy New Year and my all your dreams come true in it...sending hugs all over the world to you..

Hello all,
Well Friday is here, and as I sit here typing up this blog post, I am thinking of what I what to accomplish this coming year. I am not making any New Year resolutions as I am one to never keep them. So I am just going to post what I would like to accomplish this year..And I am sure the list will grow longer as the more I think about all the items I would love to do..but for now I have on 3 things..up first is stitching..

This I am hoping Santa will bring me,,I have loved this kit for years..so this will be my January start if I get it..

And this one I already have it kitted up,,

And on the reading front I would love to read all the OUTLANDER series by Diana Gabaldon. I have done some stitching in the early week, then I was hit with a very nasty flu bug that is still trying to hang on..so I will post pictures in the next post..well I hope you all have a very productive weekend,,and stay healthy..till next time.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend,,,I did..I just love football season. It means I can sit for hours and work on my stitching,crocheting or sewing...and not fell guilty..I have picked back up my stitching and crocheting and you know what it fells wonderful, awesome, delightful..it is so good to be working on my crafty stuff again..and I have been reading like crazy to...I have read 2 books and almost done with the 3rd one in just a couple of weeks,,,It is going to be a nice quiet week here for us,,with our boys back in AZ and TX it will just be the 4 of us,,which is ok with me,,but I am really looking forward to Christmas this year,,don't know why but I am really getting into the spirit of things,,it might be because it is all starting early this year,,but I just feel in the Spirit of Christmas,,now if Florida will just get with the program and knock off this warm weather and give us some cold weather that would be the icing on the cake,,and yes I played Christmas Music today,,in fact I would have my tree up already but I think a 19 year old would throw a fit..oh well Friday will come soon enough...well now here is the proof that I have been up to crafty goodness...I hope you all have a blessed week,,and get alot of crafty goodness done before Thursday...till next time

Pioneer Womens Meatballs My Way..

These little gems are easy to make and are delish and a big hit with the hubby...I tweak the recipe alittle,,instead of oats I used seasoned bread crumbs,and I put in 1 cup of chopped onions and used jar sauce instead of her sauce with uses 1 cup of ketchup which I am not a big fan of..I only cooked 1/2 of the meatballs and freeze the other half,,I will be making these little babies again...if you need the orginal recipe you can go to Pioneer Womens Blog(in my sidebar)and go to her cooking tab and type in Meatballs,,they are her Comfort Meatball recipe..what are you having for dinner tonight come and share,,until then huggs..

A Very Quiet Weekend,,

Hello Everyone,
I am hoping this post finds all my East Coast friends safe and dry,,we are thankful that Irene decided to turn right and not hit us here in Florida. Well like my post title says it has been a very quiet weekend,,yesterday I woke up feeling dizzy and tired, so I took it easy till hubby came home from work (12:00)and then I jumped in bed and took a 3 hour nap,,felt better when I woke up..didn't do anything exciting that night caught up on some of your shows we like thru On Demand..went to bed around 1130pm and woke back up at 8am,,felt good..we have just sat around and visited, watched some news on Irene..and then daughter went to work and hubby and grandson went to the pool and I have some quiet time to my self.

I have been reading every ones blogs, and I am envy of all the traveling you all are doing. We haven't been anywhere this summer. This is the second summer we have lived in Florida and I don't know if the humidity is getting us this year,,but we just don't have any energy or motivation. I am hoping to do traveling when it gets cooler, please come on fall..

I also haven't been doing any crafting at all..and I am seeing all the sweet Halloween patterns coming out and in the stores..Halloween is my favorite holiday. So hopefully I will be picking up the needle here soon..

I have been keeping up my running (inside on treadmill)and bike riding(early in the morning or late at night when it is the coolest)I did my farthest ride last Tuesday a 10.5 mile bike ride,,my knees and legs were screaming at me when I finished but I felt good over all..and I ran my fastest mile on Friday a 12 minute mile..which blew me away since I have been doing about a 16-18 minute mile before that,,we are still planning on doing our first race a 5k(3.1 miles) on Sept 10th..another reason I really want it to start cooling off so I can get outside more and run and bike ride..

I am ALIVE...

Hello,,
For those that are still following my blog,,sorry for the absence,,and the sad thing is I really don't have anything interesting or pictures to post..I guess I needed a blog break....The weather here has been really to hot to do anything,,we have been to the pool a few times and to the beach,,which I am in need of a trip very soon,,,having beach withdraws...but I have not pick up or touch a craft item all summer,,again I think the heat has something to do with it,,,
What I have been doing is running,,yes you read that right,,inside on the good ole treadmill..I started out walking,,got up to 4 miles and them I wanted to try my hand at running,,and I am doing it,,I have always wanted to be a runner,,but couldn't run more them 3 minutes at a time,,now I am up to 1.75 miles and I am doing my first 5k Sept 11th,,and loving it...The funny thing is, is that I haven't run in over 27 years(since the army)and I will be turning 50 in Oct...like the saying goes better late then never,,,I run 3 days a week and walk 2,,I am still enjoying my walking,,and that I can do outside early in the morning pushing my grandson in the jogging stroller,,and the other neat thing about running is I am buying alot of neat running outfits and I am starting to look good in them,, It also has been years since I have worn sleeveless shirts and now that is mostly what I wear..
Well hopefully the fall will be more eventful,,I do have a trip planned to go to Austin,Tx for a friends wedding reception and me and hubby are planning a trip to Georgia mountains to see the fall colors and to Charleston, SC,,so with the cooler weather I will outside more,,well that is about it for now,,,hope you all are having a great summer and staying cooler as best as you can,,,till next time,,,,

Good Morning everyone,, Well I have picked back up my stitching and been doing it this past week,,alittle here and there..and I am really LOVING this piece..the colors are so pretty to work with..This is the first time I have worked on 36ct fabric and my eyes have now adjusted to it and I love it..also I love working with silk threads..I decided to use only 1 thread over 2 and I am liking the coverage..I also have been sewing up some posh pillowcases and I need to make some more bracelets for my new etsy shop..but for right now I think I will get back to my stitching..hope everyone is having a bright and sunny monday..till next time.. huggs Devon Betsy by Sheepish designs

Well I made it back on monday from my vacation,,,and althou it rained in californina I had a good time,,it was great seeing the grandbabies..sure do miss them little people..but now it is back to the grindstone,,and it seems the rained has followed me back to florida because ever since I have gotten back it has done nothing but rain,,oh well we need it here..My daughter is off to Virginia to see a friend and so I have the Max monster(2year old grandson)all to myself and he has been pretty good so far,,but I am afraid he is out growing his naps..as it seems to take alot longer for him to want to go to sleep...I sure hope that isnt the case as that is my time during the day...today I made another wrap bracelet..and open another Etsy store this week,,just for them..you can go here to have a look..tomarrow I am hoping to start another set of Posh Pillowcases,,I sure do like making them,,,well I hope you all are having a great week and that you may also have a fantastic weekend,,,till next time, huggs.. I hope you all had a great weekend. I sure did, visited with my kids and grandkids this past week. We went to the Renissance festival this past saturday and had a good time..Also went thrift store shopping and out for some good Mexican food..I am going to miss them alot..Now tomarrow it is on to California to see my brothers and sister and nephew and nieces..cant wait...well I hope you all have a great week and I will catch up when I land back in florida on the 29th...till them here are some pictures of my babies..

I cant stop,,I am either beading,sewing,crocheting,knitting or stitching...I have to be doing something..I dont watch alot of t.v..and my reading is on hold because of all the craftyness I am doing..I am the type of person that sees something I like and right away I am thinking I can make that,,and so off I go to take a whirl at it..the only craft I dont do and cant get into is scrapbooking, dont get me wrong the people that do are awesome and the products out there for scrapbooking are very cute,,but I just cant get into it,,like I need another craft,,I love making things and sharing what I make...these pillowcases are so easy to make and the choices are endless..what is special about these are there is a flap on the inside to hide the pillow..the awesome person that made up the instructions for them, went to Pottery Barn and bought a pillowcase to find out how they are made and added the crochet edge..as she says Pottery Barn has nothing on our Posh Pillowcases..go here for the blog and the instructions are on the right side under On the Edge Tutorials..and then go here and see a bunch of examples.

Also up is another scissor fob this one is with a Horse charm,,these little pretties are addicting to make

I just love getting new stash,,whether it is coming from the postman or me buying it in the store,,and I have to tell you my fingers have been clicking away,,I am waiting on 2 more orders to come from the postman,,here is my latest stash enhancement,,I see some more bracelets being made and another tote,,and of course more stitching projects in the furture,,I had to order Primitive Needle patterns as a tribute to Lisa,,and I know when they are gone there wont be any more,,so here is to all your stash enhancements this week,,have fun and keep those fingers moving.

Also my hubby and I went and saw The Kings Speech last night and oh my I loved the movie,,I highly recommend it if you like any kind of history..

I saw these on Etsy and on Ebay,,they sell from 40 dollars to over 250 dollars,,and I just am not made of money. So I found a video on line of how to make them and went to town..it took about 2.5 hours and I have a wrap bracelet done and on my wrist and loving it this is a three wrap bracelet...I will be making more of these...the designs are endless..so what are you working on today...

Sorry for the absent,,I just have not been motivated to post,,I have been reading everyones blogs just not posting myself..as you will see I have been busy, just not as busy as I wish I could be..again no motivation to do anything,,I am hoping this week will bring on the motivating fairy to me.. Well me and the hubby went down to Cocoa Beach for the weekend and I loved it,,we walked and walked and found some great places to eat,,like like Ryans Village Pizza and man was the pizza every so good..the beach was beautiful and crowded,,we walked down to the Cocoa Beach Pier which was about 2 miles from our hotel..and we even went to the famous Ron Jon super surf shop,,it was a nice relaxing weekend..on the way home we stopped off in St Augustine for lunch and a walk around..I can never get enough of St Augustine,,it is a beautiful city..and the weather was more then perfect.. Well now onto the crafy stuff..I finished Emma Project by The Sampler Girl and I absolutly loved stitching this piece..in the picture you will see an extra heart stitched at the bottom under the word that,,I accidently stitched it under the wrong t,,and I kinda of liked it so it stayed..up next on the stitching front is Besty by Sheepish Design and I am enjoying this one to,,but it will take me a little longer at, as I am stitching it on 36 ct and having a hard time stitching on it,,but I will conquer it,,I am using Needlepoint inc silks and really liking stitching with them..

I finished the scarf I was working on and started another one,,in pink..I am going to be in a craft bazzare this November and it is never to early to get started,,plus during the summer months here in florida I dont want to knit with all the humidty..I am hoping to be working on making some new items for my etsy store this week,,there will be stitch markers and new project totes and new scissor fobs..so keep an eye out for those..until then keep those fingers moving...and have a blessed week..

Hello Monday,,you showed up to quickly again,,boy the weekends just seem to fly by dont they??? Well I did have somewhat of a productive weekend,,as you will see in the pictures..I started a new knitting project another scarf no surprise there huh...this is really a easy pattern,,,found it on ravelry..all it is, is k2,k1b,p1,k2,,repeat pattern for every row..I am knitting on size 8 needles and using a new yarn for me,,it is Amazing by Lion Brand and the colorway is Arcadia,,it looks like it will take 2 skeins of yarn to make along enough scarf..this one is going to my brother..

it is monday already...boy the weekends just seem to go by so fast..we had a beautiful weather here in north florida for the whole weekend.. my hubby and I went to Amelia Island Saturday and had a lovely time..walked around and looked in the shops,,then we ended it with a beautiful walk on the beach..I can never get tired of walking on the beach,,it is just somethng about looking out into the mass body of water that there is no end in sight to..just beautiful..I did have a productive weekend also, I sewed up one sun dress for my darling grandaughter and cut out another one for her(pictures to come soon),,sewed up a project envelope in which I will be having a giveaway(posting it tomarrow so come back tomarrow)with it..and I have been stitching on Emma which I am enjoying working on it..and last but not least I made up this cute little necklace for little ole me this morning,,I was looking on Etsy at their initial necklaces and wanted one that was personilize to me..and thought I have the supplies to make my own..so this is what I came up with,,my initinal,starfish for the love of the ocean,and my birthday stone..not to bad,,I can see my daughter-law getting one for her birthday next month with her kids initials and birthday stones on it..Well I hope you all have a peachy week,,

This was a craft blog,,but it looks more like a cooking blog..funny how we go thru spurts of things to do..I have been stitching I finished another violet but it needs iron before I can take a snap of it..but for now you will have to indulge yourself with these delishish items..Pioneer Women comes thru again,,My husband called this morning and was telling me he didnt have anything to eat for breakfast and that all his breakfast bars were gone..so I went looking for something to make him to take to work for breakfast the rest of the week,,and these popped into my little head..I had all the ingrediants on hand and so away I went..the recipe says it makes 12 but I think I could have gotten at least 15,,since I stuffed the muffin tins to the brim they are more like mushrooms then little puffs..but still are delishish..so if you havent tried the Pioneer Womens French Breakfast Puffs you must,,they are Easy,Quick,and very very Good..stay turn as tomarrow Devon Violets #2 will appear..now you all have a warm and crafty day...

Is what was for dinner tonight,,,and I tried a new recipe and oh my gosh...they were so freaking good...my husband who usually turns his nose up to fish taco's ate 4 of them and said they were the best thing he has eaten in while..I fried up Mahi Mahi in butter and seasoned it with Webers N'Orleans Cajun season and then made the slaw recipe that you can find here,, I am thinking we are going to have them for lunch tomarrow to since I have alot of slaw recipe left,,well what are you all making for dinner??

Well I was in the mood for a big dinner and I made one..this is more like your sunday type of dinner but what the heck,,couldnt wait..plus my daughter had tonight off so I thought I would be nice and make it while she was home..my mom was british so I grew up with all types of british food,,and yorkshire pudding is one of them even thou it is becoming more american then before..the trick is to get it to raise,,I would say about 50% of the times I have made it, it has turned out the other 50% it looks like cornbread..but still taste good..tonight was a good night for yorkshire pudding as you can see it turned out beautiful,,I know alot of people make it in muffin tins but I was taught to make it in a 9x13 pan,,and as you can see it still turns out..well now that I am fat and happy,,I think I will go and watch re-runs of NCIS before I have to tackle all the dishes..hope you all are having a warm and cozy night,,,cheers..

That is what I am calling this series of violets I am stitching,,aren't they pretty,,,violets have alway been one of my favorite flowers.. I remember my mom telling me that growing up in Devon England they would grow wild..This is the first of 6 in which in which I will be stitching..I am going to frame them in little gold frames..they are only 3x3 designs so a group of 6 will look lovely on my wall..and this is the first finish project for 2011...well I hope you enjoy them as much as I have,,Hope you all are having a grand week...cheers..

I finished reading the Dark Queen by Susan Carroll. It is not the first book of Carroll's I have read,,and it wont be the last I have been reading her books for years and have liked everyone I have read, this one included.. One of the things I like about Carroll's books are the history she entwines in her stories..along with the plots and characters..In the Dark Queen a island with 3 sisters know as the Cheney Sisters of Faire Isle,,the plot entails the encounters of them and the Dark Queen Catherine de Medici, and the dashing comte de Renard..It has action,history,romance,and a mystical flare to it,,it is the first one of the trilogy of the sisters..so look for the other two to be read this year also..

National Hot Tea Month..

Well it is getting back to a semi normal routine around here,,hubby is back to work after having a week off..daughter is still out of school and will return next week,,so now I can get back to my routine and maybe relax some..Well the year started off really good,,,my daughter whom I have been pushing to get a job got one on New Years Day,,she is working at a Japanese Restaraunt and seems to like it only after one long day of working there. And I have already finished my first book for 2011, I will be posting a review in the next couple of days..I have been known to post New Years Resolutions but I have changed my mind this year,,I will post things I would like to accomplish this year, that way if I dont succeed then I wont feel guilty about it..some of them are the norm like exercising more, losing weight,spending more time on my crafts,saving money,but this year I want to add making more meals out of the collection of cookbooks I have aquired,and baking new recipes,,I would love to do what Julie did in Julie and Julia I think that would be so neat,,but I dont have the motivation to keep with it..so I will just stick to trying new recipes out of my cookbooks..Well I hope you all have a wonderful year and may your dreams be full field in it..many hugss..

Funny Story...

I worked on this quilt for my grandson,,which is my first machine quilt that I have done,,and I think I am hooked,,except that I dont know how people do big quilts with there sewing machine, and I got it all done, and was looking it over to make sure I snipped all the threads off of the front and back and I was looking at the back fabric and I looked again,,and then I went NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,,if you notice it has ALL little girls on it,,not one single boy..I cant believe I did that,,so I am giving this cute little cowgirl quilt to my grandaughter so she is making out in the quilt section. Now I have a piece of the little boy fabric in my stash,,I just have to figure out what pattern I want to do and do it quick,,as it is suppose to be a christmas present. Well I will hopefully be in my sewing room today starting on it,,hope you all have a very craft day..Merry Christmas.

I am on cloud nine right now,,,I just framed this piece myself..long story short I took this and another piece to a chain store to get framed,,and they both turned out so bad,,I even asked the girl if she has ever framed needlework and she said yes all the time..so to say the least I took my pieces home after paying alot of money and did this one myself..I laced the back instead of using pins..and it looks fabulous..

Well I am still alive,,,just havent been in the mood lately for doing much,,,but that all change this past weekend,,I picked back up the needle and have been stitching ever since,,and let me tell you it feels good..now lets hope it continues..we have been doing a couple of little trips here and there and pictures will follow..the weather has been really cold the last couple of days and I am loving it,,,we went to the beach yesterday and now I know why I love living here in Florida,,,you can see green and trees anywhere but to see the beauty of the ocean and its wildlife is just breath taking..it was really windy and cold yesterday but I still loved it..I have been reading everyones blog and love looking at all the pictures from all over the world..it is my kind of escape to take..I am still reading The Roses and it is really good...The holidays are coming up fast so I will be busy baking,,I think that is my favorite part of the holidays is cooking and baking all the goodies..my mom was an awesome cook and baker,,and she made the holidays a big event every year..I made my first pie from complete scratch last week and it got eaten in record time,,and there will be more in the near future..well I hope this post finds you all keeping warm and busy,,hope you all have a blessed week...till next time...

I dont have to go anywhere or do anything this weekend so that makes me happy,,,I am hoping to pick up some stitching and work on it,,if not it will be football and reading all weekend long,,,I finished Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers oh my I could not put the book down..It is such a wonderful story that will make you laugh and cry,,so far I think it is my favorite read this year..now up next on the reading table is another one I have had for a while but now it just seems like I am in the mood to read it..I am one of those people that I have to be in the mood to read a certain kind of book whether it be fiction,romance,historical,or whatever,,it is Roses by Leila Meacham,,and I have to tell you the cover sold me,,I am one of those people that will buy a book for the cover and this one did it..see for yourself..well that is all that is happening here hope you all have a wonderful weekend,till next time..

Hi you all..

I am still alive and kicking,,I have just been busy running my daughter all over the place,,and watching my grandson..I have not stitched a thing in weeks as the title say I have been reading like crazy..I have read 3 books and now on my 4th,,all good,,The Devil Wears Plaid by Teresa Mediros was very good..then there was Tate by Linda Lae Miller, that was also good,and next was Harbor Lights by Sherryl Woods not my favorite in the series but still entertaining..and now it is Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers and so far I love it..well it is off to read some more,,I hope you all have a great week,,and well talk again,,

Hello,
I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend,,me and my daughter ran around yesterday hitting a used book store,dollar tree and Kohls..and then out for mexican food for dinner..and then home to watch football and do some stitching and reading..today we are just chilling out and relaxing..just wish the weather would cool off and it would feel like fall here,,but I wanted to post what I am reading,,Teresa is one of my favorite authors and I have been reading her for a couple of years and really enjoy her books,,if you have not read her you really should try her,,she writes historical fiction..here is her latest one The Devil Wears Plaid,,well I hope you all have a blessed sunday,,,

I bought this movie and we watched it last night,,I really liked it,,but anything with Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett in is good,,and really enjoyed this version of Robin Hood,,have you seen it and if so what was your opinion??

I have been so busy,,,and my mind is still twirling around with more and more ideas,,,but I just wanted to drop in and say I am still here,,I have been stitching,,yeahhhh will post pictures tomarrow..also I have some new stitch markers in my shop,,some really cute ones..go have a look..it is still to hot here in florida and I am so wanting cool weather,,but for now here is what was for dinner last night and what I did today..hope you all have an enjoyable night...

This past week,,my mind has been going in circles..I have so many ideas going thru my littel brain that I think it is going to explode anytime..and I know I dont have enough time to finish all of them..ever have that problem??well I have been keeping busy,,,I have knitted 2 dishcloths,worked on a knitted baby blanket UFO ,Sewed a pillowcase for my grandson Anthony birthday(Picture),started a scarf,started a shawl(picture),sewed up a pillow(picture),worked on both of the cross stitch projects,,and had a sale in my Etsy store this past week,,which always makes me happy,,also I have put up my Fall decoration table(picture).. Also a friend who has ask me to make baby items for her photo shoots..plus my hubby comes home today from being gone a week,,and the best news my daughter (Max's mommy)is coming back to live with us on thursday for good..so I am one happy camper..what have you all been up to this past week,,and I hope you all had a good Labor day weekend,,I did..well enjoy the pictures and hope it is cooler wherever you all may be...I am still waiting for cooler weather here...

Quiet Saturday...

Well that and a productive one,,,not doing anything exciting today..just listening to music and crochet and knitting..so I am really enjoying my quiet saturday..I do have a finish to show you,,it is the afghan for my grandson Anthony birthday next month,,and I think it turned out cute,,just the right colors for a little cowboy dont you think..I have pulled out that chevron scarf I started back in March..and have worked on that some to..now it is back to my daughter in-laws ripple afghan for christmas,,I havent dont any stitching worth showing off, and I have not done any reading either,,so for how it looks like it will be crocheting and knitting which isnt a bad thing..well I hope you all have a wonderful and productive weekend,,till next time..
